An Image of the Resurrected Holy Trinity, Pansol, Calamba, Laguna

During the summer season, a lot of vacationers trek to the waters of Pansol, Calamba, Laguna, to spend a day or swimming in the warm (hot) springs that made this town famous since the Spanish period. Hopefully, some of these vacationers of fun will turn into pilgrims of faith. The church of the Holy Trinity of Pansol, Calamba City, Laguna  stands surrounded by various resorts (in fact, the sounds of karaoke singing of a nearby resort competes with the Alleluias of the parish choir).

However, the visit, even as a side tour, to the Holy Trinity church seems worth the time as the main altar features one of the few Holy Trinity images/icons that invites the viewer to reflect on the Resurrection. In the Resurrected Trinity of Pansol, the God the Father and God the Son are represented as images of an older and younger Christ with outstretched arms and the Son in the front of the Father. The Holy Spirit, in the image of a dove, is shown flying downwards and in between both Father and Son.
