2012 in review

As of Dec 31, 2012, the Museo Santisima Trinidad has had more than 116,000 views since 2006 with the highest number of views being registered this 2012.  For blogs posted in 2012, “Pinoy, What’s The Origin of Your Name?” (https://curatormuseo.wordpress.com/2011/12/29/pinoy-whats-the-origin-of-your-family-name/) ranked second reflecting a growing interest among Filipinos in terms of their ancestry. American Colonial Education viewed from the story of a Manila South High School graduate’s perspective ranked third (https://curatormuseo.wordpress.com/2012/02/02/american-colonial-education-in-the-philippines-letters-of-a-manila-south-high-school-principal-and-the-class-of-1927-salutatorian/). Interestingly, the blog about the loss of the old Dr. Jacobo Fajardo residence in Balic-Balic came in sixth among the top ten 2012 blogs (https://curatormuseo.wordpress.com/2012/01/24/dr-jacobo-fajardo-pre-war-house-in-sampaloc-a-heritage-lost/

Thank you to all the visitors and viewers especially to those who sent emails to the curatormuseo.

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

4,329 films were submitted to the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. This blog had 31,000 views in 2012. If each view were a film, this blog would power 7 Film Festivals
